"Keeping a finger on the pulse of the market."

The kids are gone but life is far from over.  In fact, it is just beginning.  Your four-times-a-year jaunt into the city can be a thing of the past.  Instead of fighting traffic through the tunnel ($15, ouch) and finding that parking garage ($50, more ouch) that isn't full and won't ding the car; you can just stroll down the street to your favorite restaurant and dine with the locals.  The things you love to do can be a few steps or a short Uber ride from your Manhattan home: checking out the new exhibits at the Whitney and the MOMA, a boxed lunch in Central Park, shopping on Madison Ave., a stroll on the High-Line or front-row seats at that off-Broadway play you were dying to see.

Moving into the city?  Manhattan?  Absolutely!

The Best Things In Life Are Free (or nicely discounted for Seniors)

New York is known as an expensive city, but you can count the ways it is generous to New Yorkers and tourists. Many of the city’s premier attractions, museums, galleries and performances offer free entry or pay-what-you-wish options, be it for a select day of the month or evening hours every week. Those seeking a bargain can use the no-cost or low-cost admittance to take a chance on the unknown or to return to a favorite art work, exhibit or gallery again and again. Below is a just a selection; there are other free places, such as the galleries and museums of area colleges and universities.  CLICK HERE for more info.
